modest factory producing coconut-based products. As always, the

OPERATIONS
The
head office of M&S
Food Industries is based in Ipoh, the capital
city of Perak, one of the major coconut producing states in
Malaysia. This proximity to an abundance of fresh raw material
is a key factor in ensuring the freshest and the best for our
customers. Our products are exported to various key markets across
the world, among them, USA, EU & Australia. Closer to
home, our products are also highly popular throughout
Southeast Asia. |

M&S Food Industries manufacturing plant is one of
the most sophisticated coconut-based production facility in
Malaysia. To maintain our leading position in the industry, we always
strive to improve product quality by subjecting our
production facility to stringent measures of quality assurance.
And also by concentrating our efforts on new product development, we
set the industry benchmark to stay ahead.

TECHNOLOGY
Through
technology such as Ultra High Temperature (UHT) and aseptic
packaging processes, we ensure that the wholesome nutrition and
good taste of nature's precious gift is preserved for the
enjoyment of all.
UHT utilizes ultra high temperature to sterilize the product and
at the same time maintains its texture, nutritional value and
good taste, while aseptic packaging ultimately seals in its
freshness for a shelf life of up to 16 months.

QUALITY
ASSURANCE
Stringent
Quality Assurance Ensures Excellent Product Quality is the
principle being upheld since M&S Food Industries was born and will remain the
focus of all our activities.
Quality Assurance techniques are applied at every step, from
start to finish, hence the field-to-store QA concept. From
harvesting to processing the raw materials, from filling &
packing to warehousing to delivery of finished goods, not a
single step in the entire process is left unchecked.
These techniques include sensory, chemical and microbiological
test which conform to both local and international standard
requirements. Apart from our own internal tests, various tests
are also conducted by external independent parties to further
ensure strict conformation with different requirements from
different customers.

& DEVELOPMENT
Research
& Development Ensures Our Future Together is another proud
principle of the organization. Continuous development and
improvement on the products not only satisfies the customers and
consumers alike, it sets the industry's benchmark and maintain
our leadership.
New production techniques are constantly developed and tested
for both viability and conformation to international food
production standards. The changing needs & trends in both
local and foreign countries are also being tracked constantly in
order to ensure that our products are able to satisfy those
needs. This often results in new products being launched to meet such new trends and needs.

SAFETY SYSTEM |
The
Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point Systems HACCP
Certification is an internationally recognized system granted to food
and beverage companies that meet the prescribed food safety and
hygiene standards, methodology and guidelines defined by Codex.
M&S Food Industries has been awarded the HACCP Certification
in Aug. 04. This certification endorses our commitment to
continually improve the food safety system in meeting the
customers' requirement and also the food safety requirement of
international standards.
